When working with people with disabilities, as Personal Trainers, our approach is centred around inclusivity, understanding, and individualised care. We believe in creating a safe and welcoming environment that focuses on each person's unique abilities and challenges.
We take the time to listen to clients and understand their specific needs, limitations, and goals. This allows us to create personalised workout plans that cater to individual abilities, while also challenging them to reach their full potential. We also make sure to communicate openly and often with clients, checking in regularly and adjusting workouts as needed.
In terms of training techniques, We prioritise adaptive exercise strategies that can be tailored to accommodate various disabilities. This may involve modifying exercises, using special equipment, or focusing on movements that improve mobility and function. We always prioritise safety and proper form to ensure our clients are exercising in a way that is both effective and safe for their individual needs.
